I’m Alun Gathergood, and since 2003 I have been facilitating team building, team bonding, and team development programs in Khao Lak, Thailand. My professional journey began as a freelance facilitator for several leading training organisations across Thailand, before progressing to the position of Regional Manager with one of Asia’s foremost experiential training providers, a role in which I facilitated corporate training programs in both Thailand and Indonesia.

Team Building Khao Lak FAQs

What are your team building progams like?

My focus is on facilitator-led team building challenges and my full program menu is available in Khao Lak. A popular option is the Amazing Race – Khao Lak edition but there are plenty of others including cooking challenges, movie-making and marketing challenges, problem-solving initiatives, and sport programs and telematches. Plenty of indoor and outdoor options.

What group sizes are common?

Most groups fall between 20 and 60 pax with some groups going up past 100 or more. I sometimes work with groups as small as 10 pax. Such small groups do require a slightly different approach but they are no less fun.

What venues and hotels have you worked with?

There are several branded hotels and resorts in Khao Lak and I have worked with them all over the years. It doesn’t really matter where you stay. I’ll work with your hotel event team to ensure things run smoothly behind the scenes.

How are your rates calculated?

My program menu will detail my rates in full but you should expect per person rates to become cheaper as your group size increases. Smaller groups have a higher per person rate.

How long do your team building programs last?

All of my programs have some flexibility in running time but most are designed to last around 2-4 hours, depending on the program. They’re designed to fit within a half-day schedule. Some programs are longer, even full-day.
